A few minutes walk from the St. Omer railway station. Le Clos Mathurin is a quiet and charming town house situated in a lively street in the heart of the old town.

Le Clos Mathurin enjoys an excellent location providing a starting point for walking tours of the monuments and places of interest of St. Omer the Sandelin museum. Notre dame cathedral, Public Park etc.

You will be close to little, old shops (bakers, grocer’s butcher’s…), and you will also have the pleasure of discovering craft boutique’s, which are very much present, but tucked away (floral creations, painters and toy-makers workshops, tapestry workers…)

By car you have to go only a few kilometres to find yourself in the audomarois marshlands. Quite wild in the Romelaere district, they become more ordered and a superb mosaic of canals and cultivated plots around Doulac and Lysel, making up market garden areas favoured by land best visited by escute (a local boat) or by bike.
